Curated trip plans · locally written

Itineraries built by people who live in Niagara.

Multi-day plans for the Niagara region, written by editors who actually live here. Every route links straight into our map of 4,800+ points of interest, so a day in Wine Country or a weekend along the Escarpment unfolds pin by pin.

42 trip plans · last updated this week by our on-the-ground editor

From the editor's desk

An itinerary here is a route someone walked first.

Most Niagara trip posts online are stitched together from search results and second-hand lists. Ours are not. Each itinerary is written by a Niagara-based editor who has driven the road, checked the seasonal opening hours, and counted the stops between breakfast and last call.

You will get a day-by-day plan with timing for shoulder seasons, a printable map view of every pinned stop, links to bookable tours and tastings where they exist, and notes from the field — which vineyard lets you bring a dog, which lookout gets crowded by 10 a.m., which Welland canal pull-off has the best angle for the ships. If something closes or changes between seasons, our editor physically checks and updates the route before you arrive.

What's inside

Every itinerary ships as four working layers.

You're not getting a blog post. You're getting a route you can actually drive, map, time, and book.

  1. 01

    A day-by-day plan with timings

Morning, afternoon, evening — written for a real arrival time, not a vague "explore in the morning." Each block has a target clock range and a fallback if the weather turns.

  2. 02

A live map view of every stop

Every itinerary opens directly in our Niagara map with all stops pre-loaded as pins. Toggle layers (tastings, lookouts, food, transit), reorder your day, and send the route to your phone.

  3. 03

    Seasonal notes from the field

When to go, what to skip, which stops need a reservation six weeks out, which backroad turns to mud in March. Written by the editor who drove it last.

  4. 04

Booking links where they actually work

Tasting reservations, dinner bookings, shuttle pickups — only the links we have personally used or vetted. No aggregator detours, no invented discounts.
