Notes From the Field

A map is only as honest as the editor who walks it.

Every pin on this atlas has been touched by one of our nine full-time regional editors. We don't pull from third-party feeds and we don't auto-aggregate — when a vineyard changes its tasting-room hours, or a section of the Bruce closes for a washout, one of us drives out to confirm it before the map updates. The atlas carries our byline, season after season, because the region deserves reporting and not scraping.
